Details:
- The shade sail canopy is a rectangle shape with curved sides, enhancing pull strength and preventing drooping.
- Fabric has been treated with waterproof coating, good for rain and sun blocking at the same time, need to tilt the shade sail in low-high position to prevent polling water during installation.
- Connect the shade sail D-rings to your structure with the included ropes.
- Clean with mild water, do not scrub it with a stiff brush, do not put it in your washing machine, clothes drier.
*Accessories such as metal hooks are not included and need to be purchased separately.
Modification & Cancellation
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can only be canceled within 24 hours of placement. Cancellations made after 24 hours will incur a 10%–30% order fee, depending on the costs already incurred.
Can I make changes to order details after placement?
We take pride in our quick response and delivery for order requests. Please carefully measure and place your order. Take advantage of our available resources if necessary, including pre-sale consulations, sample swatches. Placing an order signifies your confirmation of the order details.
If you need to modify product details, please do so within 24 hours of placing the order. Changes requested beyond this timeframe may result in irreversible costs that you'll be responsible for. Modification requests after 2 days of placement will not be accepted.
We do not offer alterations once the products have been shipped.
Return & Refund Policy
As a manufacturer of custom-made products, we only accept returns for items that are defective or incorrectly delivered. Returns will not be accepted for reasons such as a change of mind or mistakes made by the customer when placing the order. If you receive an incorrect item or notice any quality issues, please email us at service@kgorge.com within 30 days of delivery. Requests submitted after this period will not be accepted. To process your request, please ensure the product is unused and in its original packaging. Kindly include clear photos showing the issue, along with screenshots of your order details in your email. Once the issue is verified, we will provide an appropriate solution.
To assist with your request, please include your order number and photos/videos of the defective or incorrect item. If a quality issue is confirmed, we will work with you to find a resolution or compensation plan.

*Sizing of Sun Shade Sails:
1. As each sun shade sail is handmade, slight size variations may occur. According to industry standards, a tolerance of 2" (measured when the sail is laid flat on a horizontal surface, without any stretching) is considered acceptable and not a defect.
2. The size of the sun shade sail refers to the actual finished size (±2” tolerance), measured when laid flat and unstretched.
3. Each side is measured along the edge, from the bottom of one D-ring to the bottom of the other D-ring on that same side.
4. Please note this is NOT the distance between anchor points.
5. For proper tensioning, we recommend selecting a sail about 10% smaller than your anchor-to-anchor measurements.
*Product damaged after receipt will not be accepted.

Slight color variation between sample booklet and the finished product due to fabric dye lot.

Warranty
We offer a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and quality issues. If you encounter such defects during normal use, please contact us with your order details and product photos for assistance.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by scuffs from shipping, improper use, accidents, minor scratches, or gradual wear and damage resulting from prolonged exposure to the elements.
Examples of improper use
Using a curtain rod that is not strong enough to support the weight of the curtains, resulting in bending or deformation.
Installing a shade sail with more than one anchor point on a support pole, causing the pole to bend (we recommend that no more than one anchor point be placed on a structure other than the original building).
Improper installation of sun shade sail that does not comply with the product guidelines — including, but not limited to, insufficient tilt angle causing sagging or water accumulation, or misalignment between the shade sail and tension ropes.

How to Measure for Sun Shade Sails
Please order based on the finished sail size (±2" tolerance), NOT the distance between anchor points.
Step 1: Take the Measurements
Use a tape measure to determine the straight-line distance between each mounting point — not the area on the ground.
If you’re attaching the sail to structures at different heights (like walls or poles), make sure to note the height of each anchor to plan for proper slope and drainage.
Step 2: Size Reduction for Proper Tension
Shade sails should to be smaller than the distance between anchor points to allow for hardware and tension. As a general rule, your sail should be around 10% smaller on each side than your anchor-to-anchor measurements.

Each side is measured from D-ring to D-ring along the same edge, not diagonally or corner to corner. This is not the tensioned or installed size — but the flat, unstretched dimensions of the product.

How to Install Sun Shade Sails
1. Begin by finding an anchor point for the sail. If you are using posts or walls, make sure they are securely grounded and will be able to handle the tension of the sun shade sail. If you are using trees or other natural anchors, ensure they are strong enough to carry the weight of the sail.
2. Once you’ve identified the anchor points, begin attaching the sails to the anchors. You might need the hardware kit below to attach them. Depending on the type of sail you have, you will either need to use screws to attach the sail to the anchor point or use ratchet straps for a more secure fit. Make sure to double-check the tension of the sail to ensure it is secured properly.
3. Finally, you need to tidy up and make sure all the hardware connections are made properly. Once everything is held in place, you can enjoy your outdoor space in the shade during hot summer days.
Determining the Anchor Point
Waterpooling will cause extra stress on the shade sail and your mountingsurfaces. So it's recommended to install your shade sail with a tilt of at least40° to allow water to drain. There are several different ways you can tilt yourshade sail
