When it comes to determining what size shade sail is best for you, the main factor will be the space you choose to cover. You will need to determine the attachment points for your sail. These can be trees, your home, posts, or any sturdy structure.

For proper tension and hardware installation, the shade sail should be slightly smaller than the distance between anchor points—about 10% smaller on each side. This also helps improve stability in windy conditions.

The size shown on your order is the finished sail size (±2” tolerance). Each side is measured along the edge, from the bottom of one Triangle-ring to the bottom of the Triangle-ring on the same side of the sail, when laid flat and not under tension. This measurement refers to the sail itself, not the distance between installation points.
