Did not end up using it as a tension rod as 120 inch span with curtains seemed a bit too long to simply rely on that. Glad that it will not rust and came in white to blend with my white, vinyl pavillion.

I was concerned that one reviewer showed pictures of the finish coming off on her hands, but the other reviews were good so I took a chance and bought it. The finish did NOT come off on my hands. It is very smooth and quite nice. I love the simply design and look great in our Airbnb rental. Delivery was very quick. I am glad I bought it.

I originally ordered curtain rods for my living room from a high end home store. They ended up not being wide enough so I had to return them and pay a restock fee and return shipping. So I opted to NOT re-purchase from the same store. When I found these the aesthetic was basically exactly the same as the others I previously ordered, but at a FRACTION of the price! The quality is outstanding. The packaging kept them safe and secure in transit. Absolutely NO scratches, dings or damage of any sort. ALL hardware was in the box and accounted for, including wall anchors (if you need them). Easy to install, just like any wall mount curtain rod. The quality of the metal is very nice. The finish is a smooth matte black, which is exactly what I needed to match my fireplace insert and lamps. Overall these are an excellent buy and I will definitely purchase again.

This rod had none of those issues. The paint finish was perfect and the rod is a two part design that, in my use case at least, doesn��t sag at all, but I��m using the rod at almost its minimum length, so I can��t speak to how it sits when it��s extended. I almost didn��t order this because one review showed scratches and paint that was rubbing off and getting all over the guys hands, but mine didn��t have those issues at all. I wonder if he somehow got sent a returned product that someone had damaged and spray painted or something, or maybe there was just a messed up batch. Not sure. Note: The rod looks shinier than it looks in reality in one of my photos because I brightened the photo to be able to see the rod better, but it is in fact a nice matte finish, not glossy.

Product was shipped quickly, packaged good and arrived in good condition. The color and material was exactly what I had in mind and did not come off on my hands. I needed a simple sleek black rod and this worked perfect. Very easy to hang and good quality materials. I will order the gold for another room and reorder this for my kitchen. My mom actually bought 4of these rods the day I installed mine and loves hers as well. Point blank I would recommend this to friends/family and buy again.

Ended up buying 3 of these, one for our sliding glass door and the other two for our sun room windows. Arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. All necessary hardware included. For the small difference in price, I opted for the 80 to 120 vice the 48 to 86 looking to beef up its strength and sturdiness. I'm pleased works as expected

I bought these to hang curtains on my outside front porch. They were super easy to install, but are pretty fragile and easy to damage. The screws were so cheap that a lot of them stripped just trying to drill them in - even in predrilled holes. I dropped one end as I was trying to screw it on and just the fall onto my patio scratched most of the paint off and dented it (I had to get some spray paint to cover it up as the silver was showing through the black). However, they do come with enough brackets to hold them up (I got two short 120 inch ones and one long 240 inch one and all had plenty of brackets to sustain their weight along the length).

Overall this rod is affordable, sturdy, and arrived with no damage or cosmetic imperfections. I'm not easy to please but this rod hit all the marks. Sure, the anchors aren't great, but I would never use the anchors included with any product and I keep a stash of anchors that fit my needs.

Absolutely LOVE these rods. I was hesitant to buy after reading some reviews, but they haven��t left any black paint residue on our our hands or curtains. They look very sleek and we��ve already gotten a lot of compliments. My Husband was able to install them without any issues and they are very strong and study.

I have a 20 ft long living room/window. Prior to this it was jerry rigged with 3 crappy, weak rods and horrible rod hooks/holders. I know these rods came with fixtures but I didn't like that style so, I purchased another style and am SO SO happy with all of it!

For the one review that posted all the black soot kinda residue? NEGATIVE. I had none. I checked every rod because of that post. They were solidly painted, made. Screws were black. Quality product!

This is a nice curtain rod. Seems very sturdy (length that we have it at is about 180in or so). We used 5 of the 6 brackets. With that being said, it does seem to scratch easily. The finials are scratched along with the rod itself and we��ve only hung the curtains. Other than that, it is a good curtain rod!

Gorgeous curtain rods. Truly timeless and minimal! They were fairly easy to install, I did it myself with drywall anchors that were given in the set. They do give you everything you need and give an extra bracket so it comes with four brackets total and the hardware needed for each one! They feel really nice and high-quality. The price was too good to skip over. If your end out, I'm here to let you know to go for it!

Very sturdy and solid bar. We have a shed we converted to a home and have a 20 foot wall full of windows. We wanted something easy to hang and something that would span the entire area. This is awesome. We used the clip rings to hang our curtains. At the moment I'm using short curtains cause that's all I had on hand and I had a ton of them so mine as well use them. They look awesome. Definitely recommend. I'll be purchasing this rod for all my windows and getting rid of those ugly, cheap white curtain rods finally.

This is a sturdy curtain rod. I used panels with inside tabs to cover up my closet. This rod easily spanned across and was easy to tighten. The ends are fixed with suction cups so there is no movement when installed. The rod is visible only when the panels are opened.

I installed this in a tile shower and it hasn't budged since I put it in. Seems to be really well attached to the tiles because of the suction cups on either end. It's an excellent design and very sturdy. It also looks nice.
There's really nothing to complain about here. It works as expected--even better than expected.

Landlords hate when you put screws in walls. Most tenants don't know how to do it correctly so their curtains fall down and leave ugly holes.
This fits inside our kitchen window, over which the cheap shade fell down over a year ago. I've had that window covered with a hippie tapestry, a sarong, a white waffle weave cloth shower curtain -all on push-pins.
The rod makes it look less like a dorm and more like civilized grown people live here.
Now we're moving.
Nice thing is I can take my new attractive rod to the next place.
I saved the old shade for the landlord to put back up once we are gone.

I like the quality and sturdiness of this curtain rod. I like these rods, install on tension, there is no need to drill holes or get out any heavy tools. This rod does require an Allen wrench to remove the end caps, put on curtain, so don’t take it out of the package too quick or lose it.
I found it very easy to use, The mechanism is simple tension by screwing the rod either counterclockwise or clockwise to shorten or extend. I’ve been using these for years and they’re very simple to install. Once installed, this one looks great. The curtains slide nicely no problem.
