It came without damage and double boxed with foam protectors. The bar is definitely metal, two pieces that one slides into the other, the bulbs screw in at each end. Hardware is also black to match the rod which I like. Bulbs are cast and if you set them down hard or drop it i imagine they would break but I wouldn't know unless it happens. I'm happy with my purchase overall.

I wanted this for a three panel sliding door. I was tired of ugly vertical blinds. It works great but I only have four panels. I think if you need a ton of fabric a heavier fabric, you probably need a heavier rod.

We have a tudor-style house with 4 large windows in the Living Room. We didn't have decorator rods for 45 years, but these are the crowning touch. My only beef is that the screws can strip pretty easily if you don't make the exact size holes for them when drilling. The screws are dark-colored and attractive but they should be better material. I succeeded in mounting all the rods pretty easily after all.

Some two longer than the other three and all at different times, but there is no change in quality, sturdiness, or color. These match our preferred industrial home theme while tying in the faucets etc already installed in our home. Our walls are white and I love the contrast these have against them. They don��t scratch easily and hold heavy curtains well with the anchors and braces. It��s easy to take curtains down for washing too. I recommend these for sure

I bought this curtain rod as a quick fix to hang some drapes. It does the job if you're looking for a cheap curtain rod but I would not use heavy drapes on these. My drapes are blackout drapes and I'm not confident it will hold for a long time. The brackets look like they're struggling already. There's some small dents in the finials but it's not noticeable once installed. The only thing that I didn't realize when I purchased it was the brackets aren't adjustable to push the curtains out more from the wall so if you have a shade on the outside of the window frame like me it will be a problem.

The black color sets this rod apart from others. I have it in my bedroom that is gray. The black is very modern and contemporary, but the rod has a design that still looks expensive and has some decorative style to it. My previous rod was bronze, with a ball at the end. This is much more stylish - but I love the modern black feel.

Wow, what can I say, it's just perfect. Sturdy enough, with all you need for the installation. Very well packaged in a long box, and it's very elegant in my bedroom. I will buy a second one for the other bedroom. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I used the large (longer) rod to make a fairy light display behind my bed. It looks incredible! I ordered 3 smaller in the same style for the windows. Looks amazing!

This curtain rod is simple but elegant. Very easy to assemble. The package already includes expansion screws which are thoughtful. But it can��t be extended too long, otherwise it will be curving. I think it won��t hold too heavy curtain.

The diameter of the rod lends it strength, and over a 36�� window span it ensures that even if we hang heavy drapes, there will be no issue of bowing/sagging in the middle. Even on a maximum span, with this diameter, and thickness of material, there is no such a danger.
The two ends, which on the product page are called pumpkin, are well done as well. Except that in my case, there was some paint scratches. I had to rotate so they won��t be visible. Pictures attached.
Don��t forget to insert the plastic sleeve which holds the thinner rod centered in the larger rod section.
Hardware included was made of very thick metal, and should remove any worries regarding the stability of this rod (w/curtain).

Love this curtain rod that is adjustable and thick. The only problem was the bracket. I was trying to adjust it but the screw was so tight that I ended up not using it and used a different bracket for it. It worked fine but I was hoping to use all the set that comes with it. So far, it looks good and it haven't fell so I would say the quality is good.

This is a beautiful, heavy and sturdy curtain rod. The finial is solid and not hollow as most rods are. It has a good weight to it. The instructions showed 2 screws that needed to be used but there is only 1 screw slot in the bracket but that was pretty obvious. Hardware worked fine and there was even a template included on the back which was SUPER helpful. It looks elegant! Would definitely buy more from this company.

We ordered this to go with room darkening curtains that had the grommets built in to cover a sliding glass window. We were placed with the large diameter of the rod and how it looks great when the curtains are open or closed.

This is a pretty simple curtain rod with attractive orb finials. The gunmetal color is a little less shiny than depicted in the product photo, which is a good thing. It has less of a chrome-like appearance, and I almost didn't order it because I thought it was too chrome-like. Installation was very easy albeit tedious. The end result is a very nice-looking, elegant curtain rod for my living room. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I like it.

This is a beautiful really heavy duty curtain rod set. It comes with 1 1/8 diameter rod, 3 brackets, 6 screws with anchors and two lovely resin finials. This particular rod is very long. My very tall windows flank the door that goes out onto a balcony. We love all that light but at times you need the heavy weight blackout curtains. It is important to make sure that you have an equally heavy duty and very sturdy rod to hold them and this is definitely a good one. I chose the gunmetal grey that will go well with the chrome grommets on the curtains.

I was a bit torn on which color would suit my room best. I decided on the gunmetal and I am very happy with the overall result. The color is more of a grey than the silver pictured so that worked out well for me. I also found the finish to be a bit more matte when you're just looking at them and not taking a picture with the flash on. They are very sturdy and the length is perfect. I can't say much about the assembly because I didn't do it myself. I love the product overall.

The only thing I didn't like was it did not come with any instructions. Just thrown in a box, wrapped in plastic. Other than that and having to figure it out- pleased with the product itself. Gun metal color looks better in person than photos here.

They are nice heady rods and and look nice up at the windows but the only thing I didn’t like I was surprised nobody else mentioned was that the finale ball ends are 2 pieces put together as 1 , instead of 1 solid ball end , oh well maybe I inspect things a little too much. . Anyway they are nice and no one can tell less you look real close at them. I still give them 5 stars
